Bank of Japan keeps the overnight call rate around 1.25%

The Bank of Japan voted 8-1 on Oct. 30 to keep the uncollateralized overnight call rate around 1.25%. It also raised the annual pace of ETF sales to about 860 billion yen on a book-value basis, starting in January 2027.

ECB holds its three key rates, with the deposit rate at 2.50%

The European Central Bank left the deposit facility at 2.50%, the main refinancing rate at 2.65% and the marginal lending rate at 2.90% on Oct. 29. It said it is not pre-committing to a rate path.
