About

Reporting on markets, the economy, companies, crypto, and personal finance.

FiscalHour publishes sourced reporting on markets, the economy, companies, crypto, and personal finance. The byline is FiscalHour. Stories are news and context. They are not investment advice, they do not recommend buying or selling, and they do not predict prices.

How a story earns a place on the site

A story stays a draft until its front matter lists every source it relies on. Each source needs the publisher’s page title, a public URL, the publisher’s name, and a date. The date is the publisher’s publication or update date when the page shows one, and the date we recorded the page when it does not. Claims in the body link to those same URLs. The production build fails if a published article is missing that list, an updatedAt date, a description, or its images.

We do not invent quotes, prices, specifications, or events. If a figure is not in a source, it does not go in the story. A company announcement is reported as the company’s own statement.

Standards

The publishing rules are on Sources & Ethics. A factual error is corrected on the article. How to send one is on Corrections. What the reporting is not is on the disclaimer. We do not publish a street address.
